Once, Bloodfang Manor was the proud estate of Dr. Veyne and his family — a home of light, laughter, and learned pursuits. Now it is nothing but a carcass of stone and timber, looming black against the horizon. No lamp has burned in its windows for years. No child’s voice has rung through its halls.
Even so, the valley has never known silence…
They say the manor breathes in the night. Some have heard the rasp of doors slamming shut though no wind stirred. Others swear they’ve caught the patter of footsteps pacing the halls. But most dreadful of all are the screams — raw, strangled shrieks that tear through the darkness like dying animals, echoing for miles before choking off into silence. No one who’s gone to investigate has returned unchanged.
The whispers are many. Some say Dr. Veyne meddled with powers beyond mortal grasp, and the house itself turned against him. Others claim a shadow slipped inside — a demon, a curse, or something nameless that now wears the manor like a second skin.
What is certain is this: the truth festers within those walls, and it calls to you.
You must enter the manor. Unearth the six hidden artifacts scattered through its cursed chambers. Piece together what remains of Dr. Veyne’s work. And confront the entity that has made the manor its lair.
Free the doctor… if such a thing can be done.
But steel yourselves. Bloodfang Manor feeds on fear, and once you cross its threshold, you will not leave unchanged.
